<\/p>Or rather 15,467 of which we took yesterday \u2013 oh Lord my feet were tired. It seems I\u2019m certainly accomplishing one thing on our Girl\u2019s Trip \u2013 tiring Chloe out!!\u00a0 She has went to sleep before me (a rarity at home) for the last 4 nights \u2013 and had to be woke up in the morning (not a rarity at home!).\n

We covered but a small piece of the Las Vegas pie but seen some sights!\u00a0 Went to the Outlet Mall in the middle of the day \u2013 which made for some frequent ventures into stores we really had no desire to be in (No Al not those kinds of stores!!\u00a0 hahah) but just to soak up their air conditioning.\u00a0 The temperature was much more desirable in San Diego\u2026hot but not Hell Hot. We shopped, shopped, shopped and then were back at the hotel to drop our wares off by 2pm \u2013 still lots of day to have fun with.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We wandered across the Strip to The Venetian \u2013 a huge roman themed hotel which my last memory of was getting lost as it has\u00a0quite\u00a0the winding feel to it \u2013 would totally throw Clark off as it\u2019s not square with the world as he likes!\u00a0 Anyways we went on the \u201cinside\u201d gondola ride with a lovely couple from Iowa. Mario sung us several songs which were beautiful \u2013 and Chloe guessed the movie from which one was from way\u00a0before the adults\u2026.Lady & the Tramp\u2026when they were eating spaghetti together \u2013 I did not recognize it (too old apparently \u2013 me not the movie).<\/p>\n

We ate dinner like the Seniors we are about 4:30pm \u2013 one thing about Vegas is eating times are busy \u2013 so we ate early.\u00a0 We both question why American\u2019s give you so much food \u2013 could be a good clue as to why they are overweight\u2026.and the fact they have \u2018soda\u2019 for breakfast.\u00a0 The only time I\u2019ve had pop for breakfast is after that all night party and my mouth is so dry from dehydration that I would grab whatever was wet before my tongue stuck to the roof of my mouth\u2026.I\u2019m sure none of you reading this will understand \u2013 hahaha.<\/p>\n

We walked up to the Bellagio fountains \u2013 doing the zig zagging around the masses of people who all seem to come alive later in the day \u2013 yes even in this Hell Heat there are masses of people. The evening came to a close with us moaning of how sore our feet where \u2013 OK well that was me \u2013 Chloe was asleep by then!!<\/p>\n

Today we are up early (6am) and off on our tour of Eldorado Canyon \u2013 I want to talk like Rango (Johnny Depp movie where he plays a chamelon from the Wild West) \u2013 but won\u2019t embarress Chloe. We\u2019ll tour a mining town and I\u2019m sure see some interesting things! After that we\u2019ll get on the monorail and find our way down to the other end of the Strip to check things out there.<\/p>\n
