<\/p>Good Morning!\n

Soon we\u2019ll be winging our way to Vegas and the heat, heat, heat\u00a0\u2013 temperature is sitting around 40 degrees there for the time we will visit. Yesterday we spent the majority of the day at Seaworld \u2013 was much quieter as we had seen most of the park on Wednesday so got to do some people watching\u2026and let me tell you there are lots to watch here!\u00a0 I\u2019m positive that Latin people travel in packs\u2026.always \u2013 what I noticed it was usually 6-8 women (of all ages) and then only 1-2 men (usually submissive) \u2013 very animated conversations and he was usually pushing the baby carriage or carrying all the backpacks, bags, etc. BUT they are hilarious people \u2013 we rode the Shipwreck Rapids twice and both times were put with Latin families \u2013 they were more entertainment that the ride.<\/p>\n

When we got back we did a load of laundry \u2013 haven\u2019t used pay washer\/dryers for a long time but nothing has changed.\u00a0 There is always 1-2 that are broke down which dictates how a person behaves in the laundry room!\u00a0 I went in and was pleasantly surprised to see all 3 washer were in working order.\u00a0 And the Gods were smiling down on me as I had enough quarters to buy soap, Bounce and do the load (washer $1.50 & dryer $1.50). So I get my load going and head out to the pool to wait the 30 minutes while it churns & burns.\u00a0 I\u2019m reading \u201cRunning with Scissors\u201d which was a recommended read by my sister, Bonnie \u2013 it\u2019s really a whacked story but keeps you turning pages wondering what will happen next to the main character in the story.<\/p>\n

I read for the time allotted (Chloe has abandoned me so she can Skype privately with her Beau\u2026.not sure why they are nervous about fawning over one another in front of me \u2013 haha) anyways head back to the laundry room just in time for the clothes\u00a0to spin. I turn to the dryers and this is where it gets tricky.\u00a0 There is one dryer out of commission \u2013 the money slider thing is stuck \u2013 so of course I obliged myself and start pulling & pushing trying to help the Hotel staff out by unjamming\u00a0it\u2026.no go.\u00a0 There is a dried pile of clothes on the one dryer (really people wear pink (not original) underwear) so I open that drier and yup it\u2019s full of clothes \u2013 already dried and cooled down so I know they\u2019ve been there at least 30 minutes as I\u2019ve been in & out and it\u2019s not running.\u00a0 Close that door and open the last choice \u2013 surprisingly it\u2019s full of clothes too, but they are only half-dried\u00a0\u2013 ewwww\u00a0they\u2019ll smell outdoor fresh won\u2019t they when the owner\u00a0comes to claim them!\u00a0 So I go back to the dry ones \u2013 and start stacking them on the dryer top\u2026..big underwear & all \u2013 ewwww\u00a0Chloe wouldn\u2019t have done this I know she\u2019d have sat there and waiting for the owners to retrieve\u00a0them!\u00a0 Anyways get all the goodies out and my stuff in & drying.\u00a0 I head up to the room to check on the Lovers and all is quiet \u2013 fawning is over. 30 minutes later I go back down to retrieve the laundry and it\u2019s still drying (the sign said $1.25 gives you 30 minutes \u2013 it lied \u2013 probably got a good 45 \u2013 yah for me).\u00a0 The owner of the wet clothes knocks on the door as he sees me sitting on the table and obviously didn\u2019t bring his security key to get in. He\u2019s oriental (Honestly I am not prejudice I just am very aware of the soup pot of people who live in the states and find them very worthy of my attention) \u2013 anyways he thanks me for letting him in with a quick bow & what I\u2019m assuming was Thanks. He grabs his wet clothes and disappears\u2026so then I wonder what does his wife say when he shows up with wet clothes \u2013 does she give him shit for not paying the extra $1.25 to dry them or would you open their hotel door up and see clothes hanging on every chair, lamp, door, etc. air drying??\u00a0<\/p>\n

The dryer is still humming and I didn\u2019t bring my phone, book or anything to occupy my time so I have to just sit\u2026.I\u2019m not always a good sitter but soon a lady opens the door wide exposing a rumpled piece of clothing on the ground outside the door \u2013 \u201cAre these yours\u201d she asks me??\u00a0 I look and see a pair of Batman underwear and laugh \u2013 \u201cNope not mine must have been the fellow who just retrieve his damp clothes\u201d \u2013 she looks at them & me and shuts the door leaving them on the ground.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I contemplate as I open the door to exit the laundry room if I should pick them up\u00a0& toss them on the dryer\u2026\u2026EEEEWWWWWW I\u2019m not touching somebodies underwear\u2026\u2026Oh my God \u2013 I know where Chloe gets it from.\u00a0 I step over them and head to the room!!<\/p>\n

Time to get my gear together and head to the airport \u2013 Ciao for now!! Shannon<\/p>\n
