{"id":56,"date":"2012-07-20T08:36:56","date_gmt":"2012-07-20T14:36:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/smithcrew.ca\/?p=56"},"modified":"2021-02-11T05:08:38","modified_gmt":"2021-02-11T05:08:38","slug":"flip","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/smithcrew.ca\/wordpress\/2012\/07\/20\/flip\/","title":{"rendered":"FLIP &#8211; Navy Research Vessell"},"content":{"rendered":"<body><p><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The other day while out on our SEAL tour \u2013 we actually floated past one of these cool things!!\u00a0 FLIP \u2013 Floating Instrument Platform.\u00a0 It wasn\u2019t in its upright form but rather docked at the Navy wharf near the section where the Navy Dolphins &amp; Seals live.\u00a0 Had to come back &amp; google it so I could share it with you all.\u00a0 Here is my picture as it sits beside the dock \u2013 looks pretty unassuming \u2013 just a big cannister like object. People have actually thought it was a gas tank.
