Ok I probably find that a whole lot funnier than the Boys will \u2013 and in all fairness the main bathroom had about 6 squares left on it \u2013 I had to stage the pictures.<\/p>\n
They did keep busy \u2013 and apparently we weren\u2019t missed much \u2013 well except that the cupboards & fridge were getting quite bare \u2013 or rather the stuff that I left in them was green and they were looking for food in other places. On the plus side Clark had all his & Cooper\u2019s laundry done (yah) and the cat box was not in the shape I had imagined it would be.<\/p>\n
Clark\u2019s done lots of work on his truck \u2013 he has the motor mounted and is hoping to start it up before the snow flies\u2026which being that we live in Northern Alberta could be 6-8 weeks from now.<\/p>\n
We had bought a zodiac before I left so they decided to head out camping for a few days \u2013 they loaded it up, Cooper\u2019s motorbike & the quad and away they went.<\/p>\n I\u2019ve not ever been to this lake but it looks kinda nice \u2013 we only have about 2 more opportunities to go camping so might not see it until next year sometime.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n After spending a day & night at this spot they moved on to Gwillim Lake (http:\/\/www.env.gov.bc.ca\/bcparks\/explore\/parkpgs\/gwillim_lk\/<\/a>) \u2013 it\u2019s near Tumbler Ridge and we had actually drove to it when we visited Colton while he was working in Chetwynd last year.\u00a0 It\u2019s quite a large lake \u2013 and kinda spooky they said going across it in the little zodiac \u2013 Colton googled it and learned it\u2019s 157 feet deep \u2013 yikes!!\u00a0Anyways they bedded down here and alas only had a few nibbles \u2013 caught no fish.<\/p>\n The did however see a very cool wind farm somewhere on their travels \u2013 not sure where but they caught a couple good shots.<\/p>\n They told me that it was amazing how many there were and how huge the windmills are.\u00a0 I know there is another windmill farm somewhere near Chetwynd\u00a0but\u00a0this must be another\u00a0one \u2013 who\u00a0knew BC was so environmentally friendly.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>Stony Lake (http:\/\/wnms.pris.ca\/brochures\/boundary.pdf<\/a>) was their first stop. Tight fit to get the camper into the stall \u2013 but they rammed it in there and had a good time. It\u2019s just across the BC border and the fishing was great!<\/p>\n<\/a>I do believe this is a jack fish \u2013 and they actually caught quite a few \u2013 only seemed to get 10 into the boat as they gave up a good fight \u2013 how exciting.\u00a0 Cooper loved it \u2013 he didn\u2019t like the fact that the boat takes on a bit of water so it had to be pumped out regularly \u2013 this made him quite nervous (too many Discovery\u00a0shows about boats going\u00a0down I\u00a0would say!) But they scenery was\u00a0beautiful and the weather was nice for them.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
